Welcome to eports-upc.cat! The general aim of this site is to provide port environmental managers assistance in the environmental management of their port areas. To do so, three tools have been developed: - The Tool for the identification and assessment of Environmental Aspects in Ports (TEAP) - The Tool for the identification and implementation of Environmental Indicators in Ports (TEIP) - Standardized tool to calculate Carbon Footprint in Ports The first two tools are aimed at identifying the Significant Environmental Aspects of the port (TEAP) and their related Environmental Performance Indicators (TEIP). It is recommended that the user starts by implementing the TEAP tool to proceed with the TEIP tool. In case that the user has already identified the environmental aspects of the port, it can proceed directly to implement the TEIP tool. Concerning the third tool, its aim is to calculate the Carbon Footprint of the port in order to control its CO₂ emissions and implement measures to reduce the effects of Climate Change in ports. Tool 1: Proceed to the TEAP tool if you would like to identify the Significant Environmental Aspects of your port, with optional continuation to indicators. Tool 2: Proceed to the TEIP tool, if you already know the Significant Environmental Aspects of your port and you would like to identify the more suitable indicators for your port. Tool 3: Proceed to the Standardized tool to calculate Carbon Footprint in ports.
